Wellington, New Zealand's capital city, has so much to offer. Set on the edge of a stunning harbour and surrounded by rolling hills, it's a city waiting to be explored. From the museums and theatres, art galleries, parks & gardens, restaurants, through to the shops, and the sea itself. Plus much much more.
A Great View is a ten minute drive or train ride to Wellington City Centre, it offers easy access to Wellington's many attractions, such as Te Papa National Museum and the Botanical Gardens set at the top of a cable car ride.
For those who enjoy a stroll, there are a number of excellent walks, including sea front walks along Oriental bay. Though the walk through the city shopping area may just be enough. Once thats tired you out, stop off at a café, there are more in Wellington per square kilometre than in New York.
There is plenty to see and do; if you don't fancy heading into Wellington it is only a 5 minute walk to the Mt. Kaukau track. There you have spectacular views to Wellington and the South Island.
